We provide restoration, reconstruction, and board-up services to home and business owners in Chicagoland, St. Louis, greater Phoenix, San Antonio, and Panama City. With our 24/7 services and quick response times, you’ll be able to start the recovery process as soon as possible.

After a disaster, you may not know where to begin with the reconstruction process. In our opinion, that’s the last thing you should have to worry about. Dry Core Restoration’s team of experts will handle the reconstruction of your home or commercial property, working with your insurance carrier every step of the way. We have lots of experience working with insurance companies, and we will work directly with your adjuster to ensure that you receive everything your policy covers. Since we understand how important clarity is during the recovery process, we’re available to you any time, and we’ll thoroughly document every stage of our work. We’ll also help you pick out flooring, cabinets, paint, and more.

In most cases, your home or commercial property will need to be vacant throughout the restoration process. It’s natural to worry that your property will be exposed to break-ins, theft, vandalism, and more while you’re not there. Dry Core Restoration offers board-up services that will help to put your mind at ease. Boarding up your home or commercial property not only keeps out unwanted visitors, but wildlife and weather as well. During the board-up process, we’ll also place a tarp over any damaged roofing so that you can be confident in your property’s safety.

Our customer service representatives are happy to answer any questions you might have about our fire damage restoration services, but here are some of the questions we hear most frequently from customers.

Can I retrieve belongings from my home?

We don’t recommend it. Although a particular item might look safe, it may have been contaminated by chemicals, acidic soot, or ash during the fire. In order to protect your health and safety, leave this job to the professionals.

What will happen to my possessions inside my home?

If your insurance agent has determined that your items are safe to store, we will document the items,  remove them from your property and store them responsibly. For items that aren’t safe or can’t be salvaged, we will document them for insurance purposes and  will handle their disposal.

Can I stay in my home after a fire?

Your insurance agent will let you know whether or not your home is habitable, but we encourage you to use your common sense. In general, it’s much safer to stay somewhere else immediately after a fire, and usually until the recovery process is complete.

Can I handle cleaning my fire-damaged property myself?

Not only do we not recommend this, but the IICRC sets forth very stringent standards for fire restoration. If you lack experience and training in fire damage restoration, you need to be prepared to accept the risks this may present to yourself and your family.
